This on going series is the result of the epiphany I had with Dutch modernist Theo Van Doesburg’s painting Counter Composition VIII. After making careful studies of the painting. It took me back to the photograph that I took couple of years ago in Lahore, Pakistan. This series closely examines one photograph. An on going study of the space, heritage, Persian architecture, relationships with the passed on, the positive and the negative overlap.
